Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) hopes the new tourist offerings from the emirate will increase leisure tourism.
Abu Dhabi’s hotel guests remain business-orientated with an 80/20 business/leisure ratio and the ADTA hopes a range of initiatives and attractions will help to balance it out. New services include a Big Bus tour of the city, speedboat tours, the opening of the Kids Park Zoo and new golf courses at Saadiyat and Yas Islands.
“We believe the existing momentum can be accelerated and are looking at ways to motivate tour operators and entrepreneurs to bring new products to market, including the Horizons Abu Dhabi initiative,” said ADTA General Director Mubarak Al Muhairi.
