Panama boosts UK trade initiatives

Panama has announced it is to increase its trade activity this year after flights to the destination from Europe were doubled in the last few years. The country is to work with consultants Branding Latin America to raise awareness of the destination through a fam trip, special events, newsletters and meetings with tour operators and airlines. Speaking at the launch of the campaign last week, Rodolfo Milesi, founder of Branding Latin America said: “It is an honour for us to announce this campaign and to work together with Panama Tourist Authority in the UK market.” The firm also revealed that British Airways could commence flights to Panama soon, following Iberia, KLM, Condor and Copa Airlines.
