Aston to open major hotel-convention centre complex
Aston International has signed a management agreement for a new convention centre linked to three hotels, offering approximately 800 rooms.
The deal, penned with Paramount Group, will see a convention centre with more than 5,000m² of meeting and exhibition space rise in the Slipi area of West Jakarta. The MICE facility will be linked to a 360-room four-star Aston hotel, a 199-room three-star Quest hotel and a 250-room select service favehotel.
These will form part of the Paramount City mixed-used development which will also contain an international hospital, several residential towers, a 35-storey office tower and a 25,600m² mall.
The complex is slated to open in 2014.
