The Jumeirah Group is expanding its sales presence in Asia with the appointment of a Beijing-based sales manager and a partnership with Heavens Portfolio as sales and marketing representative in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Heaven’s Portfolio will focus on positioning the Jumeirah brand and execute Jumeirah’s sales efforts towards meeting planners and incentive companies, as well as groups representing leisure and corporate travellers in primary markets in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Asia is a key region for Jumeirah Group. In addition to Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel, which opened in Shanghai in March 2011, Jumeirah Group has a further five hotel projects under development in China, one city hotel in Bangkok and a resort in Bali.
In the coming months Jumeirah expects to open Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca, Spain; Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan; Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa, Kuwait; and Jumeirah Creekside in Dubai, UAE.
