Orion adds remote Indonesian itinerary

Expedition cruise operator Orion has unveiled a new 10-night Indonesia voyage taking in the more remote parts of Indonesia’s Borneo and Sulawesi islands.
This 10-night expedition aboard the Orion II cruise ship takes passengers from Tawau, in the Malaysian state of Sabah, to Bali, via the eastern coast of Borneo and west coast of Sulawesi.
The voyage will have nature theme, providing guests an opportunity to see several species of primate and birdlife, as well as endangered species such as Malaysian sun bears and orangutans. Snorkelling trips will also be available.
Departing on 22 September, the cruise will last 10 nights with stops at Tawau, Pulau Kakaban, Pulau Sangalaki, Sungai Sangatta, Samboja, the Lampuko Mampie Wetlands, Pare Pare, Makassar and Bali.
