Free chef service in Balearics
Travel service Balearic Discovery has launched some summer special offers to coincide with the 1st anniversary of Tramuntana Mountain’s UNESCO World Heritage status. The Mallorca-based company is offering a complimentary one-night chef service with every villa booking, where chefs will prepare a three-course Mediterranean meal in the villa. Clients can also get 10% off car hire in the offers, which are available until the end of July.
New Cape & Safari Escape package
Turquoise Holidays has launched a new special offer on a nine-night ‘Cape & Safari Escape’. Saving more than £300 per person, the new package includes four nights at Steenberg (B&B basis) and five nights at the Garonga Safari Camp near Kruger (all-inclusive), with a complimentary night at each property. Starting from £2,285 per person, the package includes the complimentary nights; economy class flights from the UK to Cape Town via Johannesburg; domestic flights; transfers; a 50-minute massage and complimentary tapas for two at Steenberg’s BistroSixteen82 plus a bottle of bubbly and 30-minute massage each at Garonga.
Jet2holidays’ screen packages
Jet2holidays is said to have received several enquiries about the hotels featured in its new TV advertisements. Those featured in the ad are in Majorca, with prices at the Club Mac Alcudia Resort & Waterpark starting at £1, 239 for two adults and two children sharing. Based on an all-inclusive basis, the holiday includes seven nights, resort transfers, flights and 22kg baggage allowance. The other hotels featured at the four-star Prinsotel La Dorada and couple-friendly Iberostar Play de Muro.
Dubai summer deals
Emirates and the Dubai Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) have launched a series of offers in its latest ‘Do More in Dubai’ campaign. Coinciding with Dubai Summer Surprises, the promotion will run until 30 September and offers free accommodation for up to two children under 12 when travelling with an accompanying adult in economy class (minimum three night stay). They can also receive free meals and 50% discount off adult fares, with a choice of more than 70 hotels. Free or discounted entry into many of Dubai’s top attractions is also available, as well as airport transfers and a voucher book. www.emirates.com/uk
Funway princess package, with incentive
Funway Holidays has launched a princess package to coincide with Disney Pixar’s new film release ‘Brave’. Its new seven-night package includes seven nights at the five-star Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando from £4,0999 per family of four, including return flights with United Airlines. Price based on 10 September 2012 departure. The resort holds a Disney Princess Tea Party four times a week (from £145 for an adult and child), with all guest ‘princesses’ receiving a collectable doll and other gifts.
