Airlines and airport operators are heading to Abu Dhabi this weekend for the annual World Routes Development Forum.
The event, which is the 18th to be held, will include more than 555 airline delegates with around 40 CEOs expected to attend. They will also be joined by a host of staff from airports with the aim of discussing new routes, growth potential and challenges within the industry.
Taking place from Saturday to Tuesday, the event gives the aviation industry a chance to showcase their latest developments and is often the catalyst to new route launches, with low-cost carriers attending as well as national airlines.
Conference sessions will also be held on the side of the forum, with Travel Daily there to catch as much as possible. Updates will initially be announced in Travel Daily Middle East over early next week.
