More than a third of over-worked Brits is not using all their entitled holiday time from work, according to a new survey.
Figures released from travel advice website Gogobot found 35% of Brits are not using their allotted time despite the ‘use it or lost it’ policy of half of employers.
One in 10 said they do not go away because they do not have a destination in mind while many worried about their workload building up while away or family commitments.
“It’s really surprising just how many people aren’t taking the leave they’re entitled to simply because they’ve got too much work on or don’t know where to go. With work and family obligations demanding our attention and money tight, finding the time to plan a decent holiday can seem pretty impossible,” said Travis Katz, CEO of Gogobot.
