Azamara goes all-inclusive

Royal Caribbean’s premium line Azamara Club Cruises has announced that it is to go all-inclusive in 2013.

The line has said that the move has been made because of feedback from trade partners which wish to package Azamara as an all-inclusive product. 

The two ships – Quest and Journey – will become all-inclusive when they begin their European seasons on the 27 March and 15 May respectively. The shift to all-inclusive is being supported by a new agent training module on the company’s online ‘Cruising for Excellence’ program. 

“With the addition of select spirits, wines, beers, and a special evening event, the Azamara Club Cruises experience has received phenomenal feedback,” said Sonia Limbrick, business development manager. “In fact, agents in the UK wanted to be able to sell Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest’s itineraries as an all-inclusive experience and challenged us to deliver the tools to help them do this. This is an exciting evolution for Azamara Club Cruises, and we are confident that it will continue to boost our appeal to international travellers looking for a true destination experience, without anything extra to worry about.”

Certain optional extras will remain outside the all-inclusive package including premium drinks, spa services, internet packages, shore excursions and onboard gifts.
