Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) took delivery of its second Airbus A380 on Friday.

Representatives from THAI, Airbus, The Veterans’ General Hospital, and the Thai Red Cross, make exchanges at the Goodwill Flight arrival ceremony.

The new aircraft will allow THAI to expand its Superjumbo services, which currently connect Bangkok and Hong Kong, to Frankfurt later this month.

Arriving from France, the new aircraft transported medical equipment destined for the Veterans General Hospital in Bangkok. The supplies were donated by the Toulouse University Hospital in France through French charity organisation Aviation Sans Frontières, while

The Airbus Foundation also provided a monetary donation of 50,000 Euros to the Thai Red Cross as a contribution for the support of its children’s home in Bangkok.
