Wyndham Hotels Group is preparing to open two new properties which signify the arrival of the Days Inn and Ramada hotel brands in Singapore.
Located at Zhongshan Park, the hotels are part of a SG$300 million (US$245 million) development which will also include a commercial tower, a shopping mall, and a range of restaurants and bars flanking Zhongshan Park offering guests and visitors a wide choice of dining options.
The 14-storey Days Hotel Singapore is scheduled to open on 31 December 2012, offering 405 contemporary guest rooms decorated in a vibrant avant-garde style. The hotel will also feature an all-day international dining restaurant, a 24-hour gym, and free hi-speed Wi-Fi.
Following on, the 17-storey Ramada Singapore at Zhongshan Park will open in March 2013. As the only four-star hotel in the Balestier area, it will house 384 well-appointed guest rooms. The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, The Heritage Lounge lobby bar, 24-hour room service, a business centre, gym, and a pool. The hotel will also offer 540 square meters of meeting and banquet space, creating venue options for smaller-scale corporate meetings, social and wedding events.
Both the Days Inn and Ramada hotels are independently owned but operated under a management contract with an affiliate within the Wyndham Hotel Group. Wyndham is one of the largest hotel management companies in the world, with more than 7,150 hotels and approximately 609,300 rooms in 65 countries under 15 hotel brands. These properties in Singapore are the next step in it continued expansion as the group plans to add another 14 hotels in this region by 2014.
