Ultra luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises is to introduce a series of shorter itineraries in 2013 as part of its Baltic, Scandinavian and British Isles collection, it has been announced.
Three seven night and five ten night itineraries have been added to Crystal Serenity’s schedule, beginning on 8 June 2013, highlighting Northern Europe’s best known destinations. The line will also be offering 25% overnight stays.
“Summer is a spectacular time to explore Northern Europe,” said Philip Ordever, vice president, international sales and marketing. “The shorter voyages offer guests more convenient options for families and busy travellers to explore the history, culture and beauty of the region.”
The cruises will also use ports like Dublin for the first time on a turnaround basis.
The line has traditionally offered 11- and 12-night Baltic itineraries however, it will now focus on cruises with a higher emphasis on longer port stays and more overnights. One cruise offers two nights in Saint Petersburg.
Until 31 December Crystal Cruises will be offering all-inclusive fares on Northern Europe cruises from GBP2,262.
