Aston completes work on Jambi hotel

Aston International has celebrated the completion of construction work on its new hotel and conference centre in Jambi, Sumatra.
Due to open in June 2013, the Aston Jambi Hotel & Conference Center, will feature 153 rooms and suites, as well as a coffee shop, a music lounge and bar, terrace cafe, fitness centre, swimming pool and business centre. The conference centre will also offer six function rooms.
“This new hotel project is part of our strategy to bring international standard, modern and functional hotels into every secondary and tertiary Indonesian city,” said Aston’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Norbert Vas. “We envision the hotel to become the most prestigious address and principal business hub for Jambi’s growing economic activity.”
The Jambi property will become the 26th Aston in Indonesia.
