Backyard Travel moves into China
Bangkok-based tour operator, Backyard Travel, has entered the Chinese market with five new tours to the country.
The company’s signature itinerary will be a 19-day ‘Epic China’ tour, which begins in Shanghai, ends in Beijing, and incorporates five UNESCO World Heritage sites including the Great Wall.
Other options include the 11-day ‘Essential China’ tour, covering a range of urban and rural destinations, the five-day ‘Explore Ancient Yunnan’ trip to the southwest province, the four-day ‘UNESCO Wonders of Shanxi’ tour to the province of the Terracotta Warriors, and the three-day ‘Ancient Water Towns of China’ trip, incorporating visits to Suzhou and Hangzhou.
“As with all of our tours, the object is to help travellers get in deep,” said Maeve Nolan, Backyard Travel’s General Manager. “To do that, you’ve got to know the ins and outs of a destination, and how to get behind the scenes. Our travel specialists can and do, because they live and breathe their territory every day.”
