Air France-KLM has renewed its content agreement with Amadeus to include some of its optional services.
The deal sees travel agents have continued access to fares and inventory including Economy Comfort for KLM and Air France’s Seat +.
Travel agents will also be able to sell a ‘New Economy Offer’ so customers have the option to purchase a MiNi fare.
“We are very pleased to reach this agreement, which fits in the Transform plan of the group,” said Jean Wieviorka, SVP global sales and distribution at Air France-KLM. “The extension of the content agreement supports Air France-KLM strategy to give Amadeus travel agents worldwide an efficient access to our wide range of services, fares and options.”
The deal comes as KLM launches its ‘Pack&GO’ campaign for 2013 with consumer events taking place at the Trafford Centre this weekend and Westfield London next weekend giving away flights.
In addition, KLM has penned a new codeshare agreement with Korean Air that will see the two carriers offer daily flights between Seoul and Amsterdam. From 16 January 2013, Korean Air will start codesharing on KLM’s four weekly flights between Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport and Seoul Incheon airport. KLM meanwhile, will place its code on Korean Air’s three weekly flights services between on the route.
