Al Habtoor Group encourages Malaysia to invest in UAE

A high-profile Malaysian delegation of His Highness Prince Tengku Sulaiman, who is the younger brother of the Sultan of Selangor was recently welcomed by Khalaf Al Habtoor, chairman, Al Habtoor Group.
The group discussed possible collaboration on projects in Malaysia and the UAE.
Khalaf Al Habtoor said: “I would like to encourage Malaysian businessmen to invest in UAE. Our economy is a safe haven and has recovered from the economic crisis. The UAE is an international hub, well-positioned between the West and East.”
The delegation received a traditional welcome along with Sultan Al Habtoor, president, Al Habtoor Motors; Mohammed Al Habtoor, vice-chairman and CEO, Al Habtoor Group; Paul Rayner, advisor to the chairman, Al Habtoor Group and Rashid Al Habtoor, president & CEO at Al Habtoor Trading Enterprises. HH Prince Tengku Sulaiman, was accompanied by a Malaysian delegation; Dato Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin, consul general of Malaysia in Dubai and members of the recently-established Malaysia-United Arab Emirates (UAE) Business Council including Dato Bill C P Ch’ng, president & CEO, Malaysia Pacific Corporation.
