Visit Suffolk has launched a new marketing campaign aimed at building curiosity and tourism numbers around the region.
‘The Curious County’ digital marketing promotion uses its quirky places to attract visitors to see its hidden experiences. These include a UFO Trail in Rendlesham Forest and Britain’s smallest pub the Nutshell.
Its campaign is centred around a microsite split into seven themes including history, arts and culture, family and coast.
“Tourism marketing campaigns have a tendency to follow suit. The idea with The Curious County is to do something that’s never been done for Suffolk before and unlock potential new audiences through social media,” said Amanda Bond from Visit Suffolk.
