Pop budget hotel opens at Jakarta airport
By Mark Elliott, 14 February 2013, Thursday 3:33 AM
Tauzia Hotel Management has launched a new Pop budget hotel at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The new Pop Hotel Airport, Jakarta, is located five minutes’ drive from Indonesia’s busiest airport, which handles more than 45 million passengers per year. It offers 150 rooms, all with Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and individual shower cubicles, plus two meeting rooms.
“The new hotel has been anticipated widely thanks to our existing hotels in Bali, Bandung and Yogyakarta,” said Irene Janti, Pop Hotels’ Director of Brand. “It is built to accommodate the demand of a place to stay or hold a meeting with easy access to the airport and to avoid the busy traffic in Jakarta”
Tauzia currently operates five Pop hotels, but plans to expand to a portfolio of 30 properties by the end of 2015, with new additions in Bali, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Lampung, Solo, Makassar, Balikpapan, Sulawesi and Semarang.
