The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has rejected Kingfisher Airlines revival plan.
The airline which grounded operations in October 2012, requested renewal of its operating permit with the help of funds from its parent company, UB Group.
“Financial aid of INR650 crore from parent company is not sufficient to restart operations. Details on fund infusion, clarity of how and when fund will be infused is still not convincing by Kingfisher,” sources told NDTV. According to sources in DGCA, AAI is not convinced over payment of dues by the airline.
