Great Hotels of the World (GHOTW), the sales and marketing alliance for independent luxury hotels, has revealed its top ten predictions for the most popular MICE destinations for travel during 2011 and beyond. Just outside the medal places, India comes in at number four. Citing the latest technology and facilities, warm hospitality, rich heritage and natural beauty, GHOTW says India is an ideal destination for meetings and congresses and offers many holiday packages to combine business and pleasure. With GDP growing at approximately 10% a year and infrastructure coming up fast in the metro cities, business traffic to India and convention facilities are combining to support growth in the MICE sector.
