Delhi signs MoU with Doordarshan

The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with Doordarshan’s Art & Culture channel, DD Bharati.
The MoU will be effective for three years, was signed at the Doordarshan (DD) office by Tripurari Sharan, director general of Doordarshan and G G Saxena, managing director & CEO of DTTDC along with Usha Bhasin, channel head of Doordarshan.
According to the MoU, Doordarshan will promote Delhi’s tourism for three years through documentaries and cultural events. DD Bharti will cover all the cultural events in Delhi while DTTDC will assist it in producing special programmes and documentaries.
DTTDC will extend support to Doordarshan while preparing stories on various themes such as lesser known monuments of Delhi, sound and light show at Dilli Haats and on other aspects of tourism.
“As per the MoU, DTTDC will extend credits to Doordarshan as its TV media partner in all its publicity material,” Sudhir Sobti, spokesperson of Delhi Tourism said.
