The chefs at Singapore’s Royal Plaza (RP) on Scotts have built a life sized Formula 1 car made out of pasta, to celebrate the sixth season of F1 in the country.
The effort, which was for the Thye Hua Kwan Family Service Centre at Tanjong Pagar, is the latest in a string of culinary architectural feats by the chefs, who have previously made cars our of chocolate, bread and macaroons.
The latest model took 1,130 hours to complete, with the hotel using it to incentivise its guests to lucky draw tickets to the grand prize which includes two nights in a suite at RP with Ferrari Store Singapore Vouchers.
“RP takes pride in celebrating the nation’s night motor racing season by engaging the community in meaningful charity initiatives and sharing our excitement with the less privileged. Guests can indulge in a spectacular visual and culinary feast with the life-sized pasta car when they visit Singapore and RP during this period,” said Mr Patrick Fiat, general manager of RP. “We are also delighted to be able to do our part for the community with the support of our guests and patrons through this initiative.”
