The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kingfisher Airlines, Sanjay Aggarwal has resigned from the organisation.
“Aggarwal has put in his papers. The management is expected to accept his resignation,” two company executives informed The Mint. Prior to joining Kingfisher Airlines, Aggarwal led operations for SpiceJet as its CEO.
Kingfisher’s operating license was suspended in October 2012 by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The permit has since expired, although it can be renewed within two years, that is by October 2014.
