Chinese low-cost carrier Spring Airlines is increasing its capacity at Shenzhen’s Bao’an International Airport.
Commencing on 21 February 2014, the airline will launch new scheduled services from Shenzhen to three domestic destinations: Zhangjiakou, Shenyang, and Hangzhou.
The new route to Shenyang, in northeast China’s Liaoning province, will operate daily. Three of these services (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) however, will include a stop in Zhangjiakou, Hebei province. The direct service to Hangzhou, in Zhejiang province, will operate daily.
All of Spring Airlines’ routes are served using single-class, 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
Meanwhile, Spring has also submitted applications to launch direct services from Shenzhen to several international destinations, including Jeju, Kota Kinabalu, Bangkok and Phuket. All the new routes are expected to be operational from April this year.
