Air China will launch flights to the UK’s second busiest airport, London Gatwick, later this month.
Commencing on 30 March 2014, the national carrier will operate four weekly flights direct from Beijing Capital International Airport and London Gatwick Airport.
Services will depart the Chinese capital every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 0135, arriving at London at 0550. The return flight will then leave the south London hub at 1315, getting back to Beijing at 0620 the following day.
The new routing will be operated using Air China’s Airbus A330 aircraft. It will complement the airline’s existing daily service between Beijing and London Heathrow Airport.
