Paramount Hotels expands Dubai presence

Paramount Hotels & Resorts has set up plans to expand its resorts and hotels in Dubai. This is beig undertaken to meet demand for high-end hotel units.
“The plan includes establishment of a number of luxury hotels and resorts in Dubai with effect from this year until 2020,” said Thomas van Vliet , CEO of Paramount Hotels and Resorts in Dubai PHR LLC-FZ.
He said that Paramount recently signed contracts to set up Damac Towers by Paramount Hotels and Resorts in Dubai, which includes a 771-room hotel, in addition to three other residential Towers with 1080 rooms managed by Damac Maison.
He said that work is undergoing regarding the Paramount Hotel Jumeirah Waterfront Dubai. The hotel includes 276 hotel rooms and a variety of services. Vliet concluded his by saying that the group signed management deals for six hotels in 2013 and by 2014 the figure will double to 14 hotels.
