Thomson has announced three new Sensatori Resorts among new additions for the summer 2015 season.
The company plans to open new Sensatori resorts in Ibiza, Fethiye (Turkey) and Cyprus, totalling nine in all for next year.
The Ibiza hotel will be the brand’s first short-haul location and will be located on the beach at Cala Tarida, while the Cyprus property will be set in the Aphrodite Hills.
“We are extremely excited to announce that our flagship and exclusive Thomson Sensatori range will be available in even more destinations with the introduction of three new resorts. Sensatori Resorts are designed to bring the best elements of all Thomson holiday concepts together, offering customers a unique 5T luxurious holiday experience they can’t get anywhere else,” said Mark Hall, director of product for Thomson and First Choice.
The Thomson Couples portfolio will also be expanded next summer with the addition of the Adriatic Beach Hotel. Croatia will be hugely expanded for Thomson and First Choice next year with holidays available to Trogir, Brac, Hvar, Split and Dubrovnik. Six additional flights will be made available to Dubrovnik from Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Bristol which will also link in with cruise ship Thomson Celebration sailing from the Croatian town.
Thomson Couples will also include the Hotel Atlantic Palace in Italy near Sorrento in summer 2015, while the Arinara SuneoClub will open in Thailand with refurbished rooms and access to Bang Tao beach.
In the air, drinks will now be included for economy class passengers on long-haul routes in summer 2015. An upgrade is planned for its in-flight entertainment with more options and a monthly update. All Thomson’s long-haul flights will be operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner next summer.
“As well as new hotels, we continue to invest in our airline and in all of our concept hotels. For example, we are delighted to announce that from this winter, the drinks are on us on all our long haul flights and, in resort, we now have free Wi-Fi in all concept hotels,” Hall added.
The programme goes on sale 24 April.
