The hotel development in Abu Dhabi is progressing well ahead of schedule to keep up with growing tourism demand. In light of this trend, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Emirates Pearl entered into an agreement for management of a Grand Hyatt hotel in Abu Dhabi. The hotel is expected to open in 2015.
Emirates Pearl for Development & Investment is a joint venture between a subsidiary of Atlas Group and Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC). TDIC is a master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi.
The 47-storey hotel will offer 368 rooms and 60 fully-furnished service apartments with four restaurants, a lounge, two bars, meeting facilities and a spa and fitness center.
According to HE Ahmed Seddiq Al Mutawaa, chairman of Atlas Group and EPDI said: “Furthermore, I am of the opinion that success of this ambitious project will be assured by continuing support of Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and Tourism Development & Investment Company.”
Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl will be the third Hyatt-branded property in Abu Dhabi.
