The travel industry will gather in Malta today for the Institute of Travel & Tourism’s (ITT) conference.
Held at the Hilton Malta Hotel in St Julian’s, the conference will start with the welcoming party tonight before conference sessions start tomorrow morning.
Speakers during the three-day event include a string of political figures including UKIP leader Nigel Farage; Helen Grant, Minister for Sport, Tourism and Equalities and ex-Secretary of State for Transport Lord Andrew Adonis.
Mary Portas will also take to the stage to share her retail knowledge, while ex-England and Liverpool player John Barnes will host a forum tomorrow afternoon.
Travel industry speakers on the stage will include Matthew Crummack, CEO of lastminute.com; Johan Lundgren, deputy CEO of TUI; Jim O’Sullivan, managing director airports division & assets at BAA; David Speakman, group chairman of Travel Counsellors and John Straw, head of digital at Thomas Cook.
Representatives from Nectar, Foster + Partners and XLN Telecom will also take to the stage.
