Just a week after the launch of its first ever fights, AirAsia India has announced plans to start a new service to Kochi.
The new low-cost carrier commenced operations on the Bengaluru-Goa route earlier this month, and will follow this up on 19 June with the start of twice daily flights linking Bengaluru and Chennai.
And now, AirAsia India has unveiled its third route, with the flights between Bengaluru and Kochi expected to commence on 20 July 2014.
“We are excited to announce our third destination, Kochi, within a few days of our launch. We are very encouraged by the outstanding reception to our product and service,” said AirAsia India’s chief executive officer, Mittu Chandilya.
The new services will operate daily, and as with all AirAsia India services, the Kochi route will operate using an Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 economy class seats.
