Hyatt Hotels and Resorts Monday announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Suzhou, close to Shanghai.
Located in the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) Hyatt Regency Suzhou is part of Jinghope Plaza, a new complex project that includes a luxury shopping mall, entertainment venues, and office buildings.
The hotel offers 355 guestrooms and suites, each with a large-screen LED TV with satellite channels and free on-demand movies, coffee and tea sets, individually controlled air conditioning, and complimentary high-speed broadband.
The Regency Suites, starting at 90m2, feature a separate living and dining area, a coffee machine and freestanding window bathtub.
On the 28th floor, the Regency Club lounge serves complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening cocktails. Guests can also enjoy the Regency Club boardroom, express check-in and check-out, and dedicated receptionist and concierge services.
There are five restaurants and lounges offering international and local menus. They include the Hua Chi 88 Chinese restaurant with live kitchens and private dining rooms, The Fireplace international grill restaurant, the Tea House serving light snacks with tea-inspired beverages and cocktails, the Market Cafe, and The Atrium for informal meetings.
The hotel also offers more than 1,400m2 of function space, including the multi-function room The Residence and the Regency Ballroom.
There is also a variety of leisure facilities such as the Yue Spa at Hyatt Regency Suzhou, with six private spa suites, two reflexology areas, a Roman-style bath, and an oversized steam room. Meanwhile, the health conscious can utilise a 24-hour fitness centre, and a 25 metre indoor swimming pool on the third floor with floor-to-ceiling city views.
