Staywell Hospitality hosts global management gathering

StayWell Hospitality Group recently hosted its global management gathering including all joint venture partners at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel. The conference marked the first strategic planning opportunity with all regions present.
StayWell CEO and managing director, Simon Wan was joined by joint venture partners from the Middle East, South Africa, India, Britain and Greater China. The event covered brand development workshops, development plans and strategy for the StayWell and Mantis South Africa joint venture and workshop on regional development for all markets including Middle East and Europe, South East Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand.
During the event, the group also unveiled its third generation Park Regis Room and public area design to partners.
StayWell Group CEO and managing director, Simon Wan said: “One of our key joint ventures is with a leading group based here in the Middle East. In order to support growth in this market as well as South Africa, we have now established development offices in both locations. To further bolster our presence in these regions we have made a number of key executive appointments to strategically drive our business from the front line.”
The meeting followed a recent announcement of StayWell’s partnership with South African-based Mantis Collection, which will front the growth of its hotel brands throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Under the agreement, the Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands will be established in key cities at properties to be procured by Mantis.
