China put brakes on aviation growth
Thecountry’s passenger and cargo traffic grew 19.5% in the first half this year,much bigger than the government’s target boosted by the country’s economicgrowth.
Pilotsand other workers were reported as also granted with lower overtime limits toslow airlines’ expansion plans as stated on the General Administration of CivilAviation website.
Themove also addresses concerns on the expanding market causing a shortage ofpilots that compromises on safety-related resources, according to Ma Xiaoli, ananalyst at Citic Securities in Shanghaias reported in The Business Times.
