BHMAsia has launched a new Away resort at Pranburi, on Thailand’s Gulf coast.
The Away Beach Village is a 70-room property which was formerly known as the Beach Village Resort.
Located three hours’ drive south of Bangkok and 400 metres from the beach, Away Beach Village features a range of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, all with Wi-Fi and flatscreen TVs. Most units also feature roof terraces with sun beds, and all units are set just metres from a large swimming pool.
The central feature of the resort is a landscaped garden, including a large bar and restaurant.
“Away Beach Village is our latest property under Away brand. We are now doing some upgrade work in the outdoor area and restaurant so that the property will be fully ready to welcome guests before the high season,” said Frederic Garnier, BHMAsia’s director of operations & development.
“The majority of guests here are Scandinavians as it is located near the peaceful beach giving the tropical feeling and within only a three hour drive from Bangkok.”
The Away Resorts & Villas brand now has a total of 10 properties in Thailand and Cambodia.
