Air Arabia celebrated its 11th anniversary and 100th network destination yesterday with the launch of flights to Tbilisi, Georgia.
Air Arabia will fly twice weekly to Tbilisi from its primary Sharjah International Airport hub on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1300, arriving at Tbilisi International Airport at 1630 that afternoon. Return flights will depart Tbilisi on the same day at 1710 and arrive in Sharjah at 2020.
The low cost carrier began operations in 2003 with a fleet of two aircraft operating to five destinations, growing to 40 aircraft and 100 destinations across the Middle East and North Africa, Europe and Indian Subcontinent.
Marking the occasion, the airline’s group chief executive officer Adel Ali said: “We have witnessed unprecedented growth in the past ten years, and as we continue our journey in to the second decade, we aim to fulfil our mission of providing value for money services and greater connectivity across our award-winning route network.”
