Yanbu gets new tourism projects

The city of Yanbu recently welcomed the announcement of 27 major investment projects. These announcements were made during an investment forum by municipal and rural affairs minister Prince Mansour bin Miteb, as reported by Arab News.
Projects include a tourism island, four hotels, an international specialist hospital, tourist resort east of Yanbu Port, health resort, an automobile market and a housing city to accommodate 150,000 workers.
The tourism and marine sectors ruled the investment announcements. Madinah mayor Khaled bin Abdul Qader Taher said the new projects were aimed at boosting development of the region. He further added that the municipality aims to achieve good returns from potential investment projects in Yanbu and other parts of the region.
The project has been allocated about one million square meters wherein tourist resorts, hotels and furnished apartments will be given two million square meters to accommodate about 30,000 tourists and guests.
