Dubai gets a new innovative boat club concept with the Worry Free Boat Club. This is a special service enabling its members to enjoy benefits of boat ownership without any associated costs.
The members of this club have access to sports boats, day boats, cabin boats, fishing boats and jet skis in a range of sizes. The boats can cater for up to 12 people and can be booked in slots of morning or afternoon, or even taken for the full day. Jet skis can also be reserved for two hours and up to three usages of the boats and jet skis can be booked in advance.
Kalid Tarapolsi of Worry Free Boat Club said: “This is a popular concept in North America and Europe and really picking up in the region. The concept gives us direct access to boating enthusiasts who may be keen to regularly use a boat, but do not want to buy for whatever reason.”
Members of The Worry Free Boat Club pay an annual subscription fee of AED 30,000, which can be paid in up to four instalments, and a one-time joining fee of AED 10,000. Members can then reserve one of the six boats that operate within Dubai. As part of the fees, members will also receive the training needed to obtain an international boat license, which is necessary to take out a boat. This license is recognized worldwide.
