Vietnam Airlines orders 12 Dreamliners

The airline said in astatement that it had “signed a memorandum of understanding with Boeing tobuy 12 more 787-8s”.
The agreement was signedlast week during a visit by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to New York.
Vietnam Airlines also saidthat it intends to fly direct to Los Angelesfrom Ho Chi Minh cityfive times per week by the end of next year. It does not currently fly directto the US.
