In an effort to nurture local talent, the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, Raffles Makkah Palace and Swissôtel Makkah – all part of the FRHI Hotels & Resorts portfolio – have launched their annual Saudiazation campaign.
As part of the campaign, the aim of the hotels is to employ at least 1,000 Saudi men and women through outreach events and via the company’s multilingual recruitment website.
Bandar Bin Maleh, group director of human resources said: “By recruiting Saudi nationals, the partnerships are mutually beneficial. On one hand our brands can leverage local knowledge, creativity and talent. While on the other, our hospitality company brings Saudi workforce to the forefront helping them attain their personal ambitions and goals.”
The hotel conducts intensive training programmes that encourage professional development, career outlook, and performance elevation. Additionally, the hotels have partnered with Cornell University in New York for eCornell online courses in the areas of hospitality, management, and leadership.
