Air France launches new first class suites on Asian routes

Air France has unveiled its new La Première first class cabin products on the route to Singapore and Jakarta.
The new premium cabin comes equipped with a seat that reclines to form a fully-flat, two-metre-long bed. The armrests are also fully retractable to create a bed is 77 cm wide and can accommodate a mattress, pillow and Sofitel duvet.
In terms of technology, each seat has a personal 24-inch (61cm) HD touch screen in-flight entertainment screen, which can show almost 1,000 hours of content in 12 languages.
“With our new La Première suites, we intend to offer the best on the market and this is what we are highlighting today. By choosing to fly to Southeast Asia, we also intend to reaffirm just how important this part of the world is to us, especially to attract and retain our premium customers,” said Frédéric Gagey, chairman & CEO of Air France.
From February 2015 and throughout the winter season, the new Air France cabins will be available onboard all daily flights to Singapore and Jakarta. They will also be progressively rolled out on routes to New York, Dubai, Libreville and Yaoundé.
