Thailand’s Dusit International has entered into a new marketing alliance with Japan’s Prince Hotels.
The agreement is aimed at boosting the reach of the two companies by cross-selling, marketing and promoting each other’s hotels.
“We are pleased to enter into this partnership with Prince Hotels as Japan is a key feeder market for Dusit,” said Chanin Donavanik, Dusit’s managing director & CEO.
“Being home grown hospitality brands who share common core values of Asian hospitality, this mutually beneficial alliance enables us to strengthen our brand presence as well our international footprints.”
Dusit currently operates 24 hotels across nine countries, and has a further 20 in the pipeline. These include the Dusit Thani Guam Resort which opens this year and is expected to be popular with Japanese visitors.
Prince Hotels meanwhile, has a portfolio of 50 hotels, including seven outside Japan.
