AirAsia expands Malaysia-India connections

AirAsia will launch a new route from Malaysia to India in May.
Commencing on 7 May 2015, the low-cost carrier will launch services from Kuala Lumpur to Visakhapatnam, a city in Andhra Pradesh state, on the east coast of India.
Flights will operate three times a week, departing KL at 1955 every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, and arriving in the city also known as Vizag at 2110. The return flights will leave Vizag on the same days at2155, getting back into KL at 0420 the next morning.
Like all AirAsia flights, it will be operated using a 180-seat, all-economy Airbus A320 aircraft.
Vizag will become AirAsia’s seventh destination from KL, following Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Tiruchirappalli.
