flydubai boosts its Africa network

flydubai recently announced its intent to increase the frequency of flights on some of its routes in Africa for the summer schedule.
With additional flights, flydubai will operate a total of 78 flights a week to 12 points in East and North Africa. From 29 March, the airline will increase its Juba service from five flights a week to a daily and three flights a week instead of two to Bujumbura in Burundi. Zanzibar will be served with four flights a week instead of two. While Alexandria in Egypt will also see an increase from two to three a day from June 2015.
“We are delighted to offer more flights to Africa. We have certainly seen strong demand for travel across our network in Africa,” said Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer of flydubai.
The airline currently connects to 12 points in the market including Addis Ababa, Dar es Salaam, Entebbe, Khartoum, Kigali and Port Sudan.
