The popularity of BBC drama, Poldark, which was shot on location in Cornwall last summer, is leading to renewed interest in the county as a holiday destination.

The company says it has also seen a huge spike in online search for holidays to the area with unique pageviews for Cornwall rising 121 per cent for the seven days following the first episode of Poldark compared with the seven days prior.
