Singapore’s upscale hotel brand, Amara, has launched its first ever property in Thailand.
The new Amara Bangkok has soft-opened on the Thai capital’s Surawong Road, close to the Silom district. A brand new hotel, Amara features an eye-catching exterior with 597 timber “fins”.
Inside, the hotel offers 250 rooms and suites, plus restaurant and bars, a rooftop pool and bar on the 26th floor, a 24-hour gym, and a 24-hour “minibar boutique” offering drinks and snacks. There is also a grand ballroom and two meeting rooms.
“We are delighted that our first Amara hotel in Thailand will be in Bangkok, and we are confident that Amara Bangkok, with its personalised service, our unique offerings and our experience in the hotel business, will do well,” said Albert Teo, CEO of Amara Holdings.
Amara Bangkok joins the company’s two existing properties in Singapore, Amara Singapore and Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa, and the Amara Signature in Shanghai.
