Isle of Wight ferry operator Wightlink Ferries has launched an online booking service and introduced lower fares for foot passengers.
Wightlink now allows groups of 10 or more foot passengers to book their crossings online. Foot passenger bookings can be made via Wightlink’s group travel webpage, which also provides booking information for groups of cars travelling over to the Isle of Wight.
For groups travelling to the Island by foot, Wightlink offers discounted return ferry fares, which start at £12.20 per adult and £6.10 per child. Foot passengers also have the opportunity to bring their bikes on board for no extra charge, providing visitors with even more opportunity to explore the great Island outdoors.
Mark Persad, head of Marketing, Wightlink Ferries, said: “Over the past year we have seen a significant increase in groups coming over to the Island. To recognise this, we have enhanced our groups offer, making prices more competitive, and bookings easier than ever before. We look forward to working even closer with the groups industry in the year ahead.”
