HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, the UK-based hotel representation company, has formed a new partnership with Singapore-based Peak Hospitality Solutions (PHS) as it looks to expand into Asia.
The agreement with PHS will see the two companies try to recruit more independent hotels in Asia Pacific and sign new partnerships with regional corporate booking agents, travel management companies and online travel agents.
“Over the past 10 years HotelREZ has grown to become one of the leading hotel representation services in the UK and Europe. Our recent strategy has been to expand this reach even further, first to North America, and now Asia,” said Mark Lewis, CEO of HotelREZ.
“Our partnership with PHS will not only help us to target independent hotels in the area, but also build more demand from Asian travellers for our existing hotel portfolio. By creating partnerships with local companies, that have the real local expertise, we are able to provide a faultless service to our hotel members wherever they are in the world.”
HotelREZ’s Asian expansion will be spearheaded by Jansen Low, the company’s vice president of business development for Asia Pacific, who moves to the company from the Sheraton Macao Cotai Central.
“HotelREZ is well known for having one of the widest ranges of travel agency preferred partnerships, as well as excellent account management and consultancy services. We are truly excited to be partnering with them, and to be able to provide Asian independent hotels with one of the highest quality representation services in the market today, ensuring they can remain independent yet also compete worldwide,” said Lucas Peng, owner of PHS.
