Hainan Airlines links Chongqing with Rome

Hainan Airlines has launched the first ever direct flight connecting Chongqing with Rome.
Services commenced on 27 April 2015 and will now operate twice a week, with flights departing Chongqing’s Jiangbei International Airport every Monday and Friday at 0130, and arriving at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport at 0750.
The return service will then depart the Italian capital at 1250 on the same days, arriving back in Chongqing at 0545 the next morning.
Hainan Airlines will deploy a two-class, 260-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft on the route, offering 18 flat beds in business class and 242 seats in economy.
Rome becomes Hainan Airlines’ fourth destination in Western Europe, following Brussels, Berlin and Paris.
