The airline’s inaugural flight from New Delhi to Bengaluru will take off at 6.40 am from Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Mumbai bound flight takes off from Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport at 10.10 am.
Bengaluru is Vistara’s second destination in South India after Hyderabad and the 10th destination overall since it commenced operations.
Vistara’s rapidly growing network now offers 237 weekly frequencies connecting Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bagdogra, Guwahati, Goa, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.
Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara said: “Bengaluru is the third most populous city in India and top destination for IT exports from the country. Bengaluru is naturally the most visited city in India for business travel and offers ample potential for Vistara.”
In the first five months of commercial operations, Vistara has already flown more than 300,000 customers.
