Hyatt has opened the Hyatt Regency Naha, its first hotel on the Japanese island of Okinawa.
Located in central Naha, 20 minutes’ drive from the airport, Hyatt Regency Naha offers 294 rooms and suites, all with large flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and coffee makers. There is also a selection of club rooms and suites that offer access to the 18th floor club lounge.
The hotel features four F&B outlets, including a top floor Italian restaurant, plus a fitness centre with TechnoGym machines, a 17 metre-long outdoor swimming pool, and a range of conference and banqueting facilities, including the 82m² Regency room.
“We are delighted with the opening of the 10th Hyatt property in Japan,” said Hirohide Abe, senior vice president of Hyatt in Japan. “This hotel showcases our franchise business in Asia Pacific and demonstrates Hyatt’s commitment to authentic hospitality. We believe this hotel will contribute to our goal of becoming the most preferred hotel company.”
As well as being the 10th Hyatt hotel in Japan, Hyatt Regency Naha also becomes the country’s sixth Hyatt Regency, following existing properties in Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka and Fukuoka.
